In the early 20th Century a black man named Ottowa W. Gurley ("O.W.") He was born to enslaved parents. He later acquired land, became an educator as well as a prominent entreprenur. Black Wallstreet was built in Tulsa, OK. Later on this type of thinking spread to other states around the country. Prior to segregation, there were several prominent businesses owned by African American. These businesses were frequented by black folks. African Americans continued to thrive in businesses until the fall of Black Wallstreet which caused a domino effect across the nation.

Black Wallstreet purpose is to assist in providing quality products and services to; from and within our community.

Support Black Owned Businesses is how we provide economic empowerment to our communities. Black Wallstreet Incubator believes the best way to break poverty in our communities is to become patrons of black businesses. Working with each other to provide economic freedom is why Black Businesses Matter. We are 47.8 million dollars strong. Imagine if we put that back into our communites.
African American Consumer African Americans outspend the total market on personal soap and bath needs by nearly 19% ($573.6 million). Men are making an impact with grooming habits, outpacing the total market by 20% on toiletry items. African Americans dominate the ethnic hair and beauty aids category, accounting for almost 90% of the overall spend. |
About US
Black Wallstreet Incubator assist individuals interested in starting a business. Many of our businesses are home-based businesses and small community based businesses. We give support for marketing, equipment usage such as T-shirt businesses in which we aid with low cost equipment usage to produce t-shirt designs. This is just one of the ways in which we assist. We also provide monthly seminars, workshops and educational opportunities for upcoming entreprenuer in topics such as credit repair, property and real estate investment, financial fitness, business plan and marketing.
